26 Aug 00 - 10:59 AM (#285600) Subject: Parody of Blowing in the Wind From: winniemih Recently on The Prairie Home Companion I heard a duet called the Chenille Sisters sing this. It was hilarious. The first line was "How many roads must a man drive down before he admits he is lost?"....the refrain went "the answer my friend I cannot comprehend," (repeat) I was driving at the time, and laughing so hard I didn't get any of the other verses, except near the end of the song "how many times can a man channel surf before the remote burns out, how many sounds can a man's body make before he must sleep on the couch?" Does anyone in Mudcat Land have the lyrics? |

The only line I retained was the tag "The answer is blowing out your end." What is the origin of that particular parody and do you have complete lyrics? With apologies to winniemih... I realize this is not the requested song but a different parody. - Mark |
