30 Aug 00 - 09:06 PM (#288253) Subject: RE: Sessions in Oslo? From: Brendy Yo, Angun. The Dubliner, at R†dhusgt. 28 has sessions on a Saturday afternoon, and Tuesday evening. These sessions are attended by the local musicians, and with a spattering of whatever visiting artists and bands that happen to be in town at the time. I haven't been at the Dubliner session in quite a while, so I'm not really too sure how it's going. If Magpie or John Wood see this, they might be better able to update you. If you are thinking of coming to Oslo, don't forget to visit my old mate Steve who owns The Evergreen, at Pilestredet 39. Spur of the moment sessions are wont to occur there, and you could find yourself in the middle of a right oul' party if you weren't careful! When are you thinking of travelling? B. |
