We're looking for the lyrics to this song recorded by Hank Snow maybe around 1950. We have it on an antedeluvian cassette but it's poor quality and hard to understand.

This could be the saddest song ever written. If someone does post the lyrics, don't read them unless you have kleenex at the ready!
