Help: loving farm animals

I recently heard part of a performance by a group, and, I know nothing about them. They were funny as anything I've heard in ages. One of their bits was on loving farm animals, and, they worked in the titles of love songs as applies to such activity. Titles such as: IRRISTABLE EWE, SOMETHING IN THE WAY SHE MOOS, THIS LAMB IS YOUR LAMB (for group sex) Anyone know more about these wackos?

While we're all sitting around waiting for 'spaw to get here, you might take a look that funny, bawdy parody of "Scotland the Brave" called "I Need A Sheep". It's in the DT.

I know I'm going to regret saying this, but Leo from my Ceramics class semester said I sound just like Woody Allen. >>GULP<<

Ya know, I gotta' wonder what kind of reputation I have around here when people are waiting for me to show up on a thread like this. From the sound of these that Kendall posted, perhaps we need to subtitle this thread, "The Bestiality Love Songs Ever Written."

Maybe like "Moo River" or "Your Cheatin' Carp" ....and of course the PPM classic, "I'm in Love with a Big Blue Frog." I understand that one was written after they'd spent an evening on bad acid and listening to some of Kendall's stories.

Spaw what does PPM stand for. Big Blue Frog was a hit in Girl Scout camp (1968-74) however it got introduced to the "quality" song list. My kids also love it and I never knew where it came from. Perhaps living in an interracial family in a politically correct diversified suburb-- helps them identify the irony.. but it makes 'em laugh. It's worked for scout troops too.

Yup, I learned Big Blue Frog in Girl Scouts too. I always thought PPM learned it from us!

Here I was afraid this would be like the guy who looked at my sheep and suggested I let them go to live their own lives--as coyote food, no doubt. Or the problem addressed by my (then) 4-year-old son, 'If you're gonna eat it, you don't name it.'

Fairport Convention (I think) does 'Foolish Ewe'. Or is that a redundancy?

A friend of mine knows a parody of "Crow on the Cradle": something about "Sheep in black leather and cows into porn/Now is the time for a child to be born/He'll howl at the moon and he'll hide from sun/and if it's a boy, he'll make lousy puns".

I had to see what this thread was about. I don't know if that was a good idea or not.

So who's sheepish now? Mbo - ya sound like Woody Allen? Is it too late for euthanasia? Come to think of it, you could have a great career in the movies after Woody finally hits that big lily pond in the sky?

Spaw - ya have to wonder what kind of reputation you have around here? Yeah, right! It's obvious isn't it?

But I digress...

How about: ONLY EWE...can make me feel this way...ONLY EWE...can keep the dark away....

TO BE ALONE WITH EWE

EWE'RE THE ONE

and so on....

Okay folks, here is a TRUE story. I have a friendm, a folksinger, here in Orillia who recorded an album on tape about 10 years ago. The title song is a beauty, and it's called "On The Lam", about a woman running away from her abusive husband. (I made have told this story before on another thread...but who's perfect?) Okay, so he presently got the 1000 tapes shipped to him, complete in the shrinkwrap, opened the box, and beheld the horrifying sight of 1000 brand new tapes all entitled "On The Lamb"!!!! He went ballistic! He called them up and raised Cain and refused to pay unless it was all done over again. After a lengthy and acrimonious discussion they did do it all again.

So, the tape is called "On The Lam". It's by Rick Kane of Orillia, Ontario, Canada. And I highly recommend it. It's a good one.

He now sings a song called "It's So Hard Not To Fall In Love With Ewe" at his live shows in memory of this extraordinary screw-up. I "kid" you not!

LH, that reminds me of the Blue Oyster Cult song "I'm On The Lam, But I Ain't No Sheep."

Spaw,
Would you chaperone my kid's party? The nanny goat and her SO are going out that night.

SINSULL - I think I know that guy who is your nanny goat's SO. He was putting ads in the personals around here awhile back..."gentleman farmer, 40's, chiseled & rugged features, sensitive and thoughtful, looking for tender intimate relationship with young female sheep or nanny goat, call "Woody" at...."

Sounds like he finally got lucky.
