05 Sep 00 - 04:45 PM (#291572) Subject: Thoughts for the Day From: Peter T. Due to my much busier fall schedule, I will be unable to contribute thoughts for the day regularly (my mornings are now all gone). As I have suggested from the beginning, anyone who gets here first can start the day's "hare" -- or not. As I am bigmouthed enough, I will contribute them when I can, but it won't be daily anymore. Apologies to all ye steadfast readers. yours, Peter T. |

05 Sep 00 - 05:50 PM (#291609) Subject: RE: Thoughts for the Day From: katlaughing I am really sorry to hear that, Peter. Tell them your mornngs are supposed to be reserved for the Mudcat!*BG* I will really miss your thoughts on a daily basis; some days you've had the abiliity to set the tone for the whole Mudcat and it has always been uplifting. I shall continue to start them on the weekends, but it just won't be the same not following on your heels all of the time. Here's to the *swamp*, Waylon Heron, and your lovely, lovely words....may they come back to us on a regular basis, again. luvyakat |

I was hoping to eliminate you in the Emmylou contest, but since you're staying, well...........What can I say? Except I too hope the best for your time and your thoughts to be here as often as possible as long as you also continue to tend to the needs of the Waylon Heron first! Spaw |

I am sorry your mornings have to change though. I hope that will not change the daily sight and savor of beauty. ~S~ |

06 Sep 00 - 04:57 PM (#292359) Subject: RE: Thoughts for the Day From: SINSULL Peter, I look forward to your postings to help me get focused in the morning. Maybe we can get Kat to fill in once in a while. SandyToes helps but she is way too perky for me pre-coffee. In other words, you will be missed. Where did you get the idea that you were entitled to a life outside of Mudcat? Mary |
