I don't know how you would describe in English the sort of greenish-gray color of the new print Mudcat is using, but the French would call it "caca d'oie," which translates as "goose shit."

Goose, goose, DUCK! Splaaaat!

The color is teal, a teal is a duck.

Could make a rhyme out of that, but think I'll just let it sliiiiiide.

I thought "teal" was the color of the permanent threads at the top. This is a sort of puke green.

Bud, I take it you mean the text that you read in the threads like this post is a funny colour. It sounds like the problem lies with your computer. If you are using IE, check Tools/Internet Options and on the General Tab, click colours, maybe the text colour has been set there. The Netscape equivialant is Edit/ Preferences and Appearance/ Colours in the tree list.

It's not the text, Jon. It's the color of the thread names after they have been punched. They go from blue to the abovedescribed goosey color.

Above what I am writing now, the "post-Top-ForumHome" is in caca d'oie, while the "Translate" is in the familiar blue. If the problem is with my computer, other websites should have similar problems, but they don't.

You mean I am the only one with this change?

On m computer they change to a kind of pale purple. I think Joe is right. There is an adjustment for it in your program.

In Internet Explorer:
Go to Tools
Internet Options
Select the General tab
Click on Colors
The color can be changed by messing with Links and Visited.

Thanks, Jeri. This color is beginning to turn my stomach.

Thanks again, Jeri. I think my 13-year-old changed it on me. It is now a blazing red. Whoopee!

Thanks, Jeri- I had that revolting colour too and didn't know I could change it. It's now a tasteful chestnut.
