BS: Jon Freeman's personal messages

Subject: Jon Freeman's personal messages
From: Jon Freeman

Sorry to post this here but I have just recieved a note from my mother. It appears that when I visited her a few months ago, I forgot to log myself off her computer before coming home. Today, she spotted a message telling her she had "active messages", realised that it was my personal page and decided to delete everything as she thought they should not be on her computer.

I know there is at least one PM I haven't answered and there may be a couple more. If anyone has posted anything to me that they would normaly expect a reply to but don't recieve one, please understand that this is the reason for it.

Jon

Jon, did she clear out your "archived messages" too?

Yes, everything although I did not have many messages in the archive - I had a big clear out a couple of weeks ago.

Jon, as I recall, I sent you one saying you're an ignominious arsehole, but you know that anyway, so I won't bother sending it again.

...Jon, was it around the first or second week in July? I seem to recall sending you a message and not receiving a reply. But I emptied my mailboxes when I logged off for a month...harp

Are you recieving them at home now? I sent one yesterday. Should I re-send it?

Alas, Jon, then you missed the message which, had it been answered in less than twenty-four hours, would have made you a millionaire! Sorry about the bad luck!

And all those Sadie Hawkins Day invitations. Too bad. We were planning one just for you.

Wow, all these things I have missed and spaw, I am pleased to hear you at least had the decency to call me an arsehole, I get very upset when asshole is used.

Harpgirl, this happened today but I have no guarantee I have not missed other messages for similar reasons.

Carol, I did not recieve your message and would be grateful if you could send again. I seem to remember sending a PM to you a couple of days ago and all my sent messages are gone too - with my memory, I like to keep a record of what I have said for a few days.

I have re-sent my message to you, along with a copy of your original message to me. When I tried to get into the forum page afterwards, I experienced a computer glitch. So I don't know if my message got to you or not. If you don't have it, would you please let me know either by PM, or in this thread so I can try again?

Thanks,

Carol

Harp, sadly I have much less time these days than formerly, for Mudcat, plus SLOW ISP making it less attractive. Welcomed ya first time i noticed ya here tho.

Jon. Good to see you too, of course. Listen. I am doing a little PM maintenance of my own today, now that the ISP seems to be ticking along more merrily.... d'ya mind if I dub the process of dumping old PMs as Freemanizing? Doing a Freeman? Or what's yer mom's name? Can I name it after her?
