Hello all: I am looking for the words to "Rose of Allendale" I am new to this forum. I have taken a look at some of the 'threads' and I may be able to help out in some. Would appreciate the help on this one. regards Mike

Do a search for Sweet Rose Of Allendale it's in the DT. Use the box in the uper right corner to get there. Welcome Barry

A slightly different version was recorded by the "Corries" on their album "A Little Of What You Fancy" EMI Records, SCX 6546. Their chorus goes "Twas the Rose of Allendale..."
