CatConcerts: Call for performers

While we have a few events scheduled for the Mudcat Concert Hall on Thursdays, there's plenty of room for more. If you would like to do a concert set, please let me know, either on this thread or by PM.

In case someone doesn't feel (s)he could (or wants to) do a full concert set, maybe someone could, through PMs, get a group of maybe three or so together to do a coordinated "set of sets" which would make up a full concert.

Maybe Harpgirl could use this approach to set up an all-female concert, for instance. This would assure that she had the personnel available to keep her session flying.

Bartholomew, the Mudcat Concerts are in a special room set up for that purpose on the Mudcat Hearme page. You can get info on the upcoming events here:

Sam, that's great. I think we could arrange an earlier start time for our european members. Kind of hard to email you without an address.

Actually, there's no reason that Hearme Concerts couldn't be archived and played back whenever convenient. Max? (in your spare time)

I intend to tape record MY concert simultaneously as I do it. All I need is the address to send it to Max.

We got a real good tape of our concert. Will send to Max when I find out how, and would like to make it available to anyone who wants a copy.

any nibbles? come on here, people, this is a chance to strut your stuff, (so to speak) and win friends and influence people, beside get a great big ego-boost while entertaining a really great crowd.

And you can do it from the privacy of your own home!

How does one "do" a catconcert, by the way? I'm confused about the technological wizardry--and the issue of time, as I live in Oregon. I can't quite figure out how all of this works.

blt, I'd refer you to the HEarMe and Paltalk sections of the FAQs. As for the time issue, concerts have been aroud 8:00 Mudcat time, which is around 4:00? your time.
