I'm just sitting here working and listening to Red Allen singing "Will You Miss Me When I'm Gone" from the Bluegrass Reunion CD. Gee that guy could sing. I can't decide whether I'd rather listen to Red sing that song or Roy Lee Centers singing it with Ralph Stanley. Surely those are two of the best voices ever recorded in bluegrass. It also reminds me that some of the best songs are still right out of the Carter Family book. Just had to say that. - Mark |
