I went into Whitcomb's Music store one day, and saw a cassette in their local music section - a standard studio cassette, with a yellow stick-on label, and it was typed. It was, however, called "K-Mart Blues" Working out at K-Mart, manager trainee (something) housewares, aisle 3 I was putting up some bic pens when they opened up the doors and a stampede of crazy ladies knocked me to the floor last week I was in ahrdware, this week I'm in shoes I got the workin' down at K-mart, manager trainee blues... Donald V. Amdahl claimed copyright on words and music to a song called WALMART FEVER in 1993. Edward R. Malek claimed copyright on words and music to a song called WALMART FEVER in 2002. Allmusic.com doesn't list such a song, and neither does Repertoire.BMI.com or ASCAP.com, so if it was recorded, it must be pretty obscure. The phrase "Walmart fever" has been used a lot on the Internet, but the first couple of pages of Google results didn't yield anything helpful. |
