I know her through Little Boxes...and want to know more! I have heard she wrote that song in SF looking at the hills and the houses, and I know that P. Seeger covered it.

I liked that song so much I sang it and recorded it...would like to know more about her.

I sing one of her songs, "The Girl on the Rim of the World," about a street person she saw dumpster diving in her neighborhood in San Francisco.

It's actually the song I learned to yodel specifically so I could sing (that sentence structure may have been really clunky, but you get my drift ... )

Smithsonian/Folkways recently issued a compilation of 21 Reynolds songs: Malvina Reynolds 'Ear the Ground: Topical Songs 1960-78' Smithsonian/Folkways SFW CD 40124.

There is also a recent tribute album by Rosalie Sorrels on Red House: Rosalie Sorrels 'No Closing Chord: The Songs of Malvina Reynolds' Red House Records (don't have cat#).
