Well I don't know what sort of mood I've been in....listening to all these sad songs but here's another one that's great when Johnny Cash sings it!
best wishes, Yvonne
Sea Of Heartbreak

The lights in the harbour
Don't shine for me
I'm like a lost ship
adrift on a sea

Sea of heartbreak
Lost love and loneliness
Mem'ries of your caress,
so divine, how I wish
you were mine again, my dear
I'm on a sea of tears
Sea of heartbreak

How did I lose you
Where did I fail
Why did you leave me
Always to sail

Sea of heartbreak
Lost love and loneliness
Mem'ries of your caress
so divine, how I wish
you were mine again, my dear
I'm on this sea of tears
Sea of heartbreak

Oh what I'd give just to sail back to shore
Back to your arms once more

Oh come to my rescue
Come here to me
take me and keep me
Away from the sea

Sea of heartbreak.....

(Hal David/Paul Hampton)

The hit single of this was by Don Gibson back 1960 or so.

Thanks John,
I was wondering who else sang it or had a hit with it. The only "famous" person I knew who did it was Cash.
