11 Oct 00 - 05:12 PM (#316526) Subject: HEARME DRESS CODE From: SINSULL I am suggesting a more sedate attire for tomorrow night's festivities. I have dragged out my corset and bustle and intend to stuff myself into a Victorian ball gown in the hopes that Dave will be inspired to add a few Gay Nineties classics to his agenda. Black satin - rather austere and complemented by an assortment of ebony mourning broaches and pins formed from the dearly departeds' hair. For those of you awaiting sea shanties, perhaps a parrot and wooden leg are in order. Appalachian ballads - barefoot and corn cob pipe. You get the idea. Show the man what you want to hear. Special note to Spaw - if Cletus is planning an attending, you need to be there too. Little Neo and I had some difficulties last week. And feed him grits or gruel NO POSSUM. No need to explain, I think. |

11 Oct 00 - 05:20 PM (#316537) Subject: RE: BS: HEARME DRESS CODE From: Little Neophyte Mary, you mean I have to put some clothes on other than white socks? I had suggested Catspaw take Cletus to the cleaners but from what I understand they had a horrible experience there. Unfortunately I won't be around Thursday evening to attend, I hope the evening is a wonderful experience. Little Neo |
