AIN'T MISBEHAVIN'

No one to talk with, all by myself
No one to walk with, but I'm happy on the shelf
Ain't Misbehavin', I'm saving my love for you.

I know for certain the one I love
I'm through with flirtin', It's just you I'm thinking of
Ain't misbehavin', I'm saving my love for you

Like Jack Horner, in the corner
Don't go nowhere, what do I care?
Your kisses are worth waiting for, believe me.

I don't stay out late, don't care to go
I'm home about eight, just me and my radio
Ain't misbehavin', I'm saving my love for you.

Subject: Lyr Add: TEARDROPS IN MY EYES
From: Quincy

TEARDROPS IN MY EYES

These heartaches now are on my way
What makes you want to be that way
You cheated on me and you lied
You put teardrops in my eyes

I found out what they say is true
I hope someday that you'll be blue
And then you'll know dear why I cry
With these teardrops in my eyes

I heard the rumors over town
That some day you'd let me down
I turn my head when gossip flies
Cause it puts teardrops in my eyes

* Refrain
I never thought you'd let me down
But now at last understand
You broke our promise and vows
You'll have to pay for it somehow

* Refrain

Rich, don't know if this is the version you want? Also could you let us know which version of the Wedding Song you want cos there's a few!!

best wishes, Yvonne

Here’s what you guys need to know about setting up lyrics with chords:
1. First set it up on your word processor using a fixed-width font such as courier.
2. Then be sure every line ends with
.
3. Then put
at the beginning and
at the end of your block of lyrics and chords.
4. Copy and paste your entire message from your word processor to the Mudcat thread.

Different reasons, really. Need the Wedding Song for my neice's big day' need Teardrops In My Eyes for my bluegrass Sunday afternoon with friends and I saw an old Austin City Limits on tape with the Cluster pluckers doing Ain't Misbehavin' and I loved it. Thanks for the help

wedding song here: clicky
 G
He is now to be among you

At the calling of your hearts

C+d
Rest assured this troubador

G
Is acting on His part.

D
The union of your spirits, here,

C+d G
Has caused Him to re-main

Em G
For when-ever two or more of you

D
Are gathered in His name

C+d (G A7 - C+d - G) or INTRO phrase
There is Love. There is Love.

G D
A man shall leave his mother

C+d G
And a woman leave her home,

Em G
And they shall travel on to where

D
The two shall be as one.

G D
As it was in the be-ginning

C+d G
Is now and til the end

Em G
Woman draws her life from man

D
And gives it back again.

C+d (G A7 - C+d - G) or INTRO phrase

C Em Am
Well then what's to be the reason

D G
For be-coming man and wife?

C Em Am
Is it Love that brings you here

D G
Or Love that brings you life?

G D
For if loving is the answer,

C+d G
Then who's the giving for?

Em G
Do you believe in something

D
That you've never seen before?

C+d (G A7 - C+d - G) or INTRO phrase
Oh there's Love, there is Love.

D
Oh the marriage of your spirits here

Are gathered in His name

C+d
There is Love.

I wrote out some chords recently, AND COULDN'T FIND THE THREAD THAT TOLD US HOW TO NOTATE THEM IN HTML!

So, I did two things:
1) Use a font that is equally spaced (not sure of the correct word). I think I used Courier.
2) Put in ----------to take up the spaces.

Example:

G-----------------------
He is now to be among you

-------D---------------------
At the calling of your hearts

C+d------------------------
Rest assured this troubador

---G-----------------
Is acting on His part.

I'm not sure if those chord changes are in the right places, but maybe you get the idea.(fingers crossed here) If anyone has figured out a better way, let me know.

You can also go to a good music store or sometimes a public library and look for a fake book with words, melody line and chords. I own about six and would be lost without them.DT doesn't have everything. ***G***
