Okay, so this is just a joke, but I'm willin' to bet on this one.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) does not have as large an audience as TBS or TNT, but I figure enough folks watch it to say this. EVERYTIME this movie runs on any big channel we get requests.....Can you guess?

Yeah, that's it.......The movie is "Cool Hand Luke" and the song of course is "Plastic Jesus." TCM is showing it now nad I'm figuring that within the next 24 hours, we get a request for PJ........Whaddaya' think?

Can you think of others that get requests......"Places in the Heart" is getting a few anymore.

Sorry, Spaw, I thought this was the dumb post that you were hoping would die without a post. I figured you were Predicting that it wouldn't, and so I left it alone.

In response to the request, now that you have mentioned it, you've altered the probability greatly. It's like telling somebody not to think of an elephant.

Better start a song challenge then to write some more verses. Our congregation gets really mad if we offer stuff that is too short. Once they get going they like to keep going. I thought they were going to stone me tonight when we only did 5 or 6 verses of O Mary Don't You Weep Don't You Mo*n.

I predict that the next time the movie The Last Emperor is shown on American tv I will get a quadzillion requests from the e-mail harplist and internet searchers saying that they saw my posting in the harplist archives with the words of Suo Gan (a Welsh lullaby) in it and would I please send them a copy of the words. I would predict that unless there is some consideration given to the past heated arguments regarding respect for others' beliefs and keeping more personal things to PM's and e-mails, there will be another bloodbath that we don't need. Whaddaya' think?
