I suspect the word should be "fait do do". There is a term in Acadian French, which is used in the Cajun patois as well.

Seems to mean a party.

No, it is fais. I found listings for a song called Let's Do the Cajun Twist that might be it, but I can't find lyrics. You might try asking at the Cajun French Music Discussion Forum.
