05 Dec 96 - 11:00 PM (#658) Subject: Looking for music for Morris tunes From: I'm looking for music for any of three Morris dance tunes- they are Trunkles, Shepherd's Hey, or Lads a Bunchem. All I need is the simple melodies of each. I've checked sheet music sources on the Web-there are audio sources for these, but no sheet music. Can anyone help with this? JoAnn otter@best.com |

09 Dec 96 - 08:00 AM (#694) Subject: RE: Looking for music for Morris tunes From: Ian Currie There are several different versions of each of these tunes depending on the tradition they were collected from - Bledington, Fieldtown, Bampton etc. I don't know any source of these on the Web, but virtually all the Morris tunes can be found in Lionel Bacon's "Black Book".
