Lyr Req: Blanky Cranky Parson

Gidday folks. I'm looking for the words to an aussie song that a mate of mine, recently deceased used to sing- "The blanky cranky parson". It starts off:

I don't mind blokes that digs and stokes
That fettles or works on derricks
I could even stand a German band
But I draw the line at clerics-

Now strike me pink I'd sooner drink
With a cove sent up for arson
Than a rain-beseechin' preachin' teachin'
Blanky cranky parson....

G'day Dug,

I posted that one back on 31 Jul 2000 (and may have been 'harvested' into the DT under its name I Am a Tolerant Man).

If not, it is at Right here (?)

regards,

Bob Bolton

Cheers, Bob. You're a legend. All those beery rehearsals in my flat at Westmead come flooding back to me! See anything of Jon and Trish lately?

Thanks Bob. Brian Crawford was the mate in question!
