If you know where I can find the Sheep Shearing Song, please email me the address wsstuff@hotmail.com I've checked Napster and searched with ferrets. Email me if you have it and are willing to upload it to me, too. Thank you.

There are several in the DigiTrad database, here. If you mean the Australian one, it is in the DT, with a midi to get the tune right. Just click here: SHEEP-SHEARING SONG.

Hope that's what you are looking for. You can also find it on a Golden Ring Reunion CD put out by Folk Legacy Records. Sandy and Caroline Paton and others do a beautiful rendition of it.

Also in the DT with tunes are

"The Sheep Shearing" from Sharp's collection,
"Sheep Shearing Song" by the Copper Family, and
"The Rosebud in June", where the last line of the chorus is "And the lads and the lasses do sheepshearing go"

Is it any of these?
