Many of us here are what some would call "familiar strangers". We don't necessarily know one another very well; but we know that there is support to be found here. I've learned that most people like to have their shoulders massaged if they know you at all. I don't try with strangers but even with friends I don't just grab them and start in. First I comment that it looks like they could use a shoulder rub. then I ask them to turn and when they do I start in. I have been given good marks for both hugs and shoulder/back rubs. Several people have suggested I take up massage as a profession. I'd rather leave it as a hobby. Free shoulder rubs will be available in New Hampshire on the 18th. Come one, come all!
