I am gob-smacked that not one of them mentioned Gomez's contribution. I must be on a totally different wavelength. It is one of the best performances I have heard this year. Emmylou's, Crowell's and Snider's also stand out, but Gomez's is something special. --Stewie. |

It has been recorded by Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, The Country Gentlemen, John Denver, Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings, The New Lost City Rambers, Peter Rowan, June Tabor, and several others. I can't find any evidence that Ian & Sylvia ever recorded it. |
