06 Nov 00 - 09:53 PM (#335665) Subject: Bob Fox & Stu Luckley From: Garry Gillard I haven't been able to find a website for Bob Fox & Stu Luckley which gives details of their recordings, so I've put the beginnings of one here. I'm hoping someone will be kind enough to send me the tracklist for their second LP, Nowt So Good'll Pass. Or any other details. Of course, if there already is a Fox & Luckley website, I'd like to hear about that instead. Garry |

I'd like to know which ones were re-recorded for 'Box of gold'. Then I'll know which ones I may never hear ... :-( cheers, Garry |
10 Nov 00 - 02:31 PM (#338126) Subject: RE: Bob Fox & Stu Luckley From: GeorgeH I trust you guys are aware that they re-recorded much of "Now't so good . . " and "Wish we never . . " onto CD. A reasonable reaction to the fact that the masters of the originals had disappeared into the well-known vaults of Celtic Music. George |

15 Nov 00 - 07:03 AM (#340978) Subject: RE: Bob Fox & Stu Luckley From: GeorgeH Yes, it is "Box of Gold" where much of the two LPs was re-recorded. IMO the re-recordings aren't ALL as good as the originals, but it's a fine CD. Sorry for the delay - Mudcatting from work with a poor memory, so had to check details at home. G. |
