16 Nov 00 - 10:57 PM (#342148) Subject: Sharing Joy! From: GUEST,khandu For the first time in quite a while, I have spent the evening playing music with my son, Jason. Excellent guitarist! To my delight, he has surpassed his dad in skill.(Except for, maybe, Mississippi John's stuff, etc.) Of course we do not compete. We enjoy one anothers various styles, and embellish it when we can. Times like this are like rare and precious jewels. These are the joys that cause one to realize that life, in all it's grind and rush, is to be lived to the fullest. The hard times, though they may be many, do not out-weigh the times of joy, though they may be rare. Since I shared my pain with my Mudcat family, I wanted to share my joy with you also. May you all have moments like this! khandu |

Thanks, khandu, for sharing such a moment with us. You're quite right, in my opinion. The hard times usually outnumber the beautiful moments. But those moments miraculously balance the scales somehow. Sometimes they can even tilt the scales a bit. |

If that doesn't make you feel good about living, I don't know what would. You've done something very right and no matter how hard it may have seemed at times, the rewards now are inestimable. Why the hell do you have to be from Mississippi anyway? Spaw ........I can't take it.................Sharing Joy huh? So who's Joy? Some kind of second cousin or something? ..............awww, that's much better.............You're still to be envied man! |

Her father is like a younger brother to me. This child is precious beyond belief. I find myself collecting lullabies with her in mind. She will sing some day. Just sharing the joy! Mary |
