From: Lyrical Lady

Yesterday, I checked out the Amazon.com that's flashing under the SUPPORT the MUDCAT fish. Call me slow if you want to, but I had no idea you could find all that stuff available on the net. In a little over an hour I did most of my Christmas Shopping. I saved $40.00 in ferry fares, $15.00 in fuel, parking and waiting in line ups. I even found the weird and wonderful CD.s that my kids want. It's FABULOUS and it supports the Mudcat! So go ahead, push those buttons, it's sooo eas

Lyrical Lady, (Great name!) the only times I've gotten cut off while I was 'composing' is when I forgot myself and used CTRL I for italics instead of the <> configuration. Could that be happening to you?

Ebbie

Some systems treat the TAB key just like hitting the ol' SUBMIT button, oddly enough! In case you're typing like a typist and trying to indent your paragraphs!

G'day Lyrical Lady,

And you get cut off (or did until recently?) if you use brackets in the title.

And I thought this was going to be about flamers. I have not even started my Christmas shopping. Thanks for the tip, LL.

I'd try that, but I have this standing policy of not buying ANYTHING from Amazon. If I need books, I try to always order them through my local independent brick-and-mortar bookshop, because I like having a bookshop in my tiny town, and want it to stay in business. If I need CD's I either get them from smaller online operators or from brick-and-mortar stores (large or small in this case not being an issue, because there ARE no CD retailers in my tiny town).

Those were the "smaller online operators" I was talking about, MMario!

I was having a heck of a time using my brain when I wrote that. I was wracking my brain for Camsco and Folk Legacy and the names simply wouldn't materialize. So I said "smaller " -- well, whatever I said.

Never buy from a megacorp what you can buy from Camsco and/or Folk Legacy!

There. Hope I've done my duty.
