27 Nov 00 - 05:26 PM (#347277) Subject: Music Search Engine: musicrobot.com From: Zebedee Apologies if you all know about this already, but I'd never come across it before: www.musicrobot.com lets you search specifically for Midi files, Lyrics, Guitar Tabs etc. I've not had time to investigate it much yet, and inevitably it's mostly rock / pop. The midi search does however bring up all of the mudcat midis so it can't be too bad... I got the link from an interview in today's paper with Steve Knightly (of Show of Hands) - Click Here. One trick I like to use is to search for a particular song I like, say for instance The Maple Leaf Rag, then check out all the other songs on the page I find that one. |
