01 Dec 00 - 10:13 PM (#349969) Subject: RE: WELCOME HOME JOE OFFER! From: Joe Offer Thanks, MMario. The JoeClones™ did a darn good job, dontchathink? I had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed the Getaway and the Mudcat Gig and the gathering at Barry Finn's, and I loved New York and visiting my sisters in Connecticut and Boston; but I think 6 weeks is too long for a vacation. It's nice to be back home. At the end of my last day of vacation, I saw a bald eagle on the shores of Chesapeake Bay. I think that was a great way to end my adventure. -Joe Offer- |

I want to thank you again for the house call & deguesting me & to say it was a pleasure having you as our house guest (along with all the others). You've a welcome here anyting. I hear tell of an abandon lighthouse on the Yarmouth/Hyannis coast haunted by the ghost of Ida Lewis's pet Iguana but you'll have to come back to see it (hee, hee). see ya sometime soon. Barry |

04 Dec 00 - 08:48 PM (#351468) Subject: RE: WELCOME HOME JOE OFFER! From: Barry Finn Hi MMario, I guess it would be, to pin point it, it would be on the western side of Lewis Bay on a spot known as Gammon Point. I'm quessing it would've been used as a nag. aid for entrance to Lewis Bay/Hyannis Harbor before the breakwater or getty was built & a light was put on that making the Gammon Point Light obsolete. (I was joking about the Ida Lewis part though). Barry |
04 Dec 00 - 09:49 PM (#351496) Subject: RE: WELCOME HOME JOE OFFER! From: Susan A-R Joe, it was great to have you out east. I'll ad my name to the list of welcoming Vermonters. (The housekeeping is a bit ragged, but the food is great! and I'm right in the middle, between CamiSu and the Woodchucks) I hope that all of the stray cats are still peeking in at you and that all is well with your song circles. Now that you are back, I'll try to be better behaved about blue clicky things and line breaks. Susan |
