I'm so pleased to be able to finally have time to read this forum again after an absence of a year and a half! The project that has sucked all my time up has been the creation of a new event *SHAMELESS PLUG HERE* :-) The Vermont Renaissance Festival. This is a Ren-Faire that runs the first 2 weekends in June (I know, we crossover with Mystic-Sorry!), for which I am looking for performers. We are looking for buskers, street performers, stage acts, anyone who can get up and sing or play an instrument. I have been meaning to email you all year (I had the web site bookmarked but lost it in a fit of cleaning) to discuss the music side of things- that was the only aspect of the Fest that I felt could be improved. So thanks for the website info. For those who don't like to type, click here I would love to help, so will try to contact you off-list. Not in their wildest dreams would the makers of that film ever thought that "my cookie expired" would become an intelligent cyber-statement. Good luck with the festival. |
