Anybody know where the words are posted? - I'm getting frustrated trying to get them off the recording! |

I transcribed this: Now an' y'oughta heard my grandmother when you got my grandfather told, Said, look-a here, man, you really—you've been(?) not too old. CHORUS: Because it's early in the mornin', baby, 'bout the break of day. Y'ought to seen me hug that pillow where my baby used to lay. [Note: he pronounces "break of" like "breakum" and "pillow" like "pillum" but I'm pretty sure "break of" and "pillow" were what he meant.] |
