Tune Req: Tango from 'True Lies'

Subject: Tango from 'True Lies'

I've just watched "Scent of a woman"... and I'm wondering what the title is of the tango Al Pacino and the girl danced to... it's the same one as they used in "True Lies" when Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis tangoed....

I assume it's a well known tango... anyone know the name?

A review of the soundtrack at this site has two titles it might be: "Por Una Cabeza" (2:14) and La Violettera (3:34). A page on the Gabrielle Anwar fan site has RealVideo of "The entire 2 1/2 minute tango dance with Donna and LT. COL. FRANK SLADE. (real media, 3,680KB, 148 seconds)". From these two facts, I would guess it's "Por Una Cabeza".

Anybody actually KNOW?

P.S. Haven't seen that movie for ever; gotta rent it one of these days. It's worth it for that scene alone.

And all I had to do was go one step further to find out for sure. According to all these websites, it is indeed "Por El Cabeza" by Carlos Gardel, lyrics by Alfredo Lepera.

In addition to "Scent of a Woman" and "True Lies", it was used in "Schindler's List" and was evidently originally written for a movie about a horse player: thus, it's odd name (in English, "By a Nose").
