10 Jan 01 - 03:48 PM (#372367) Subject: Welcome Sooz! From: wysiwyg Please join me in welcoming recently-joined Mudcatter Sooz! I thought I would give her her very own thread in case anyone is confoozed-- a lot of you address me with that as one of my nicknames... especially at hearMe (or it may come up at PalTalk). And it was considered as a possiblity when I talked about a name change, too. But this is a new Sooz, not me, and Dang! It's a great name! Anyway, Sooz, if you'll post here in this thread and tell us a bit about yourself, then later on if anyone does a Mudcat search on your name, this thread ought to degoof the situation. And I would ask my Catpals not to address me as Sooz in the threads (Dang!!) or it'll just get all mixed up-- I did a search, and there aren't any after November 1, 2000. So any after today should be assumed to be addressing our new member. ~Susan PS, Guess that leaves me with [Flooz]! Hmmm...

10 Jan 01 - 11:25 PM (#372675) Subject: RE: BS: Welcome Sooz! From: wysiwyg OK, Susanne, here's a start. Remember-- no "outing" people's real names unless they're already open with it... some of these may be a stretch and I may be dead wrong, plus I'm including Sue's.... but here goes: CamiSu, Flipsusan, Jamesue@aol.com, Psaltry Psue, SaraSue, Suann, sublue, sue, SueH, Susan, Susan A-R, Susan from California, Susan of DT, Susan-Marie, susan10, Susanna, yourself-- Susanne (skw)-- SusanR, Susanw, SusanWOB, susibell, Susie, SusieQ, suze, suzy blues, Suzy Thompson, and The Sugar Dog. One day on a long drive Hardi and I listed all the songs we could think of with the name Sue, Susie, etc. in them. It was kinda scary. ~S~ |

11 Jan 01 - 03:48 PM (#372939) Subject: RE: BS: Welcome Sooz! From: Giac Hi Sooz! Have to send this real quick before my stupid ISP disconnects me yet again. I've been trying to post to threads since before Christmas, but keep getting thrown off line. Maybe you'll bring me luck. Look forward to your posts. Giac (another Mary, who couldn't even post to "that" thread before being kicked off line. Someone included me anyhow, I noticed, but couldn't retort.) It's that inner clique thing, I know it is, couldn't even include myself in the birthday threads. Dammit, I'm five days older than Joan Baez! Sorry to hijack your thread, new Sooz, but this may be my only chance to post, if the freakin' thing even works, mutter, mutter, mutter.........

Have you ever had Brian Peters at your club? I owe him an email but I have lost his address. Murray |
