19 Jan 01 - 02:01 PM (#377916) Subject: Long Beach in February From: Susan of DT I will be in Long Beach California Feb 10 - 15 on a business trip. Is there any music to be had then? Any mudcatters out there want to get together? I will have free time that first weekend, but no wheels. Post here or PM me or e-mail to susan@digitrad.org |

23 Jan 01 - 09:42 PM (#380952) Subject: RE: Long Beach in February From: SeanM Ummm... Actually, the problem is "no music". Welcome to Southern California, the Folk dead zone. There IS some Bluegrass to be had, and if you head into LA there's the Knitting Factory and a few other high spots... Unfortunately, our Bretheren To The North got all the good music. 's OK, I guess, 'cause they also get the blackouts. M |
