Eventually, if this becomes a permathread, or even if not, I think it would be good if Banj or I keep this edited down BUT I will not delete any comments without each person's permission, so please make a note, if you don't mind editing out, in your postings. In this thread, Banjer and I volunteered to start a Mudcat Photo Album at Photoloft in which we would upload photos for those of you who don't want to have your own album, or cannot do so, or for whatever reason. This was on offshoot of the Christmas Album a few of us joined in on in December and also becuase Pene Azul seems too busy with real life (yeah, what's that?) to keep up with the Mudcat resoruces album, at the moment, anyway.**BG** So, I got the new, all Mudcat photo site up. Homeless's photos of a beuatiful moonset and other nature photos are the first ones on there, in their own album. You can view them here: Mudcat's Album. Just added a picture of CarolC with her accordion outside the Waffle House. Beautiful picture, Carol! As far as I can see, each of you can send in a few and can have your own "album" within the album, or, if you just one or two and they are strictly music/Mudcat oriented, we could have one main album for those and if Banj and I get really good and careful those could be somewhat alphabetised, eh, Banj?**BG** We'll just see how it goes, okay? In the meantime, those of you who want to can email your photos to Banj at Ray@Eanes.com, or me at katkensho@hotmail.com. It still needs breaking in, but it has much to recommend it as a fingerstyle instument and responds very well to flatpicking too. Crisp and balanced across the board, the little brute is going to get played a lot. Jeez I surprised myself, although my set up on the page at Photoloft doesn't appear as pro as others. We'll do the blue clicky thing for you. Forgive me if this is something you already know how to do, but I believe in basics. |

Perhaps the only dog that does not require Viagra, despite the fact that he has no balls....and all this despite the fact he has lost his hearing, which sort of put an end to the duets that he and my daughter sang and he is going blind as well. But his eyes can still look to your very soul. Rescued from the pound as an "unadoptable" many years ago, all his behavior problems were just due to his terror at the time, who knows what he endured, but he is a living testimonial to taking strays from the SPCA into your heart and home. A clickable link is simply the address of the page (copied and pasted) and inserted into a fairly simple little formula! If YOU can get to a page, YOU can create a link to it in less than 10 seconds....you NEVER NEVER try to type a full address...especially to places with 47 characters like Photoloft albums can be!...but you can easily type the formula!
you type a left bracket ..< this gives you a href=the address you pasted now if I did all that right...if not, look at Joe's example in the permathread....and you too will be doing blue clickies in no time

There was a thread on the lunar eclipse that just happened in the UK and I described what I saw (here in the states) the next morning - moon setting over the lake as the sun rose, colors all mixed up. BILL FOSTER (Bill in Alabama) PICTURES.....Have a look at them and you'll see one with Bill at the "Museum of Appalachia".....look at his hatband in that picture (blow it up). Awhile back I found that Bill had been an "Injun" in the Walt Disney "Davy Crockett" series with Fess Parker and Buddy Ebsen. As a kid I was addicted and I now look on those shows very fondly. Bill wrote me and sent a picture of himself back then dressed in his "Indian garb." He said that the necklace he wore as one of the Indians that Davy chased around the forest, and the one in the picture he sent me, he had kept these many years and its the hatband on the "smokey" he's wearing in the Museum photo. Kat you have my permission to delete any of my rambling in either thread. This is going to be so neat when it all gets set up and working right. While I have the floor, what would anyone think about transferring a copy of his/her photo from the present Mudcat album to this new one? This is not an attempt to usurp anyone's efforts, Pene Azul has done a very nice job as did bbc and her son David before him. I just thought it would be nice to put all our pictures in one place. If any one has an opinion either pro or con, please let me know in this thread. Thanks... |
