MP3.com nettiquette question

Subject: MP3.com nettiquette question
From: GUEST,Steven Sellors

Dear Miss Manners,

Some friends and I put some songs on MP3.com for the listening pleasure of the general public. Could I post a link here or is that considered rude? I don't want to be a spammer; I'd have to turn myself in...

Steven Sellors

Steven - speaking for myself - if you do it politely (and especially if you hang around a bit and discuss stuff ) it would be fine. a good spot might be on the "Mudcatters on MP#.com" thread. Mudcatter's on MP3

course if the ONLY time we see you is when you want to plug your own stuff...well....

Steven, you are too polite by half. You've been an occasonal poster for awhile, you could at least put the link in and have some content in this thread.

But if you won't, I'm hijacking this thread to ruthlessly promote my own damn mp3 page!.

Now get back here and post your link!

You don't want Willie-O on your case--search the Digitrad for some of his case histories if you don't believe me.

Speaking of Netiquette, this post has humourous and ironic intentions and nothing else.

W-O

This is a music site, is it not? and you have music to share, right? what else do we need to know? Go for it..here's one who wants to hear it.

Yeah, just post it to the other thread before this one gets turned into a self-promotion bonanza

I should have put a smiley on that post. I assumed since I gave you the link to the other thread you would realize ...

'scuse me while I go remove my foot from my mouth.
