A friend's niece is dying, and her family wants to do the song "Maggie" as recorded by the band de Danaan at her funeral. I've got the music down for them, but I can't understand the words of the second verse. Can anyone help? There's something about "A golden row" and then there's another line about birds. The album is by the de Danaan All Stars and the title of the album is "Star-Spangled Molly." Any help would be much appreciated. |
