This one came from our own Art Thieme. It is what I consider "Fine" Art:

If not for time, we'd have to do everything all at once.

Thank you, kind sir,

Sorcha, I'm not too sure about this (you might have to ask Kat for confirmation), but I think that is what happens when you start getting old....

Sorcha, other than the sick daughter, let them sort it out for themselves. You, my dear, need some rest!

As for giving something a rest, Amergin...you can graduate from nappies to pullups :-) if you'll give it a rest, too!

Write, write about anything....even if it doesn't make any sense just write...write until you feel you have said all there is to say.

I see I'm not the only insomniac at my computer in the middle of the night. Let's all take some deep breaths.

I can hear Liza Minnelli (sp?) belting out...."maybe next time, it's the right time...."

I have often thought that immortality would be a curse. With all the time in the world, what motivation would there be to get anything done?

Sorcha, my son screwed up, not big time but enough for me to reimpose a ban on home visits. It hurts me more than him but it has to be done. Take care of your daughter. If your son is not SERIOUSLY hurt, let him take care of himself. Don't even offer sympathy. Love your husband. You are lucky to have him.

Nynia will survive. Put him at the bottom of the list of "Things To Do Today".It's just a misunderstanding.

Time wasted is time well spent.

Time is one thing you can control in life. If you want it to slow down just sit and watch a clock. If you want it to speed up do something that's really fun (play music etc.).

I suggest you review Heinlein's depiction of Lazarus Long for an answer. He had no problem finding things to do. And Art's thought is a bit misleading; if not for time, we could do anything instantly!

Hope things sort themselves out for you soon Sorcha. Sorry I over re-acted. As I said in the PM I should have slept on it before I said anything.
