Hi I'm Marc Kunkel. I'm a harmonica player. I've done things with Woodstock Mountain Review, Pat Alger, Arti Traum, Eric Anderson, Buddy Miles, The Kinleys and others. I just joined here and wanted to say hello, so, hello. I'm living and playing in Nashville, mostly doing demos and showcases for songwriters here. My website is http://marckunkel.cjb.net

There's music and stuff there.

harpo, you have already begun a new thread called "New Member". That should be sufficient.

As I said in that thread, "Welcome."

Oops. Now I see what happened. That earlier posting was included into someone else's thread. Sorry to have burdened you with my confusion. Haven't had my second cup of coffee yet.

Brilliant. I do know your music than. Also tell your cousin, that I use his his understated approach as an example when trying to get my band members to blend and hold back on the vocals.

Welcome. This is a marvelous place with many helpful and thoughtful people, but the occasional flammer passes through as well. I think of it as an elective family with less than the usual collection of human foibles and a super-abundance of the good things about the human condition.

Hm...not to get personal but what's the deal with Leah Kunkel, Mama Cass' sister and owner of a truly GORGEOUS alto? A former in-law of yours. ALSO is that Van Morrison playing his own harp on his new album, the one with Jerry Lee's sister? He(Van) sounds pretty good, if it is.
