BS: The Gaelic Goddess and the Shag

I am happy to report that our own Aine, The Red-Headed Gaelic Goddess is alive and well. The reason she's been away is that she took it into her head to sell her house and move over toward Fort Worth, where the handshake is a little firmer and the city is a little less "dorky".

So in her best Irish Washerwoman style she undertook to hand-scrub every inch of the walls and every square foot of the carpets. Ouch! As a result, her arms and shoulders are in terrific shape, but her wrists are all swollen and covered with bumps so she can't use a mouse for more than a few minutes.

She promises to return in about a week and wants to catch up with all the Challenges that have been submitted in her temporary absence. So if you haven't written your best song about the undead maiden or the un-mated peacock, be sure and trot 'em out there purdy quick, or you'll get smote with mint lightning!

Regards,

A

Well, that's a relief to hear, Amos! Thank you. But from what I read in the Tavern thread....I was thinking she hurt herself trying out a new position or something....

It looks as if the local papers heard she was coming - "a href="http://www.expedia.com/daily/travnews/January2001/January17-01FamilyTexasWild.asp#begin">"See wild Texas creatures in Fort Worth"

That blue clicky thing slipped away once more - this should do the trick: "See wild Texas creatures in Fort Worth"

LOL, McGrath!

Glad to hear she's ok. (Well, somewhat!)
