BS: Join Me in A Fine and Private Place....

(yes, I admit I stole the title from Peter Beagle)

I have this pet friendly motel room, quite large and expandable on need. It is within walking distance of at least 6 used bookstores, and several musician friendly pubs. The room and bookstores are non smoking, some of the pubs might be.

We (and our 4 legged friends)can browse (and purchase!)at the bookstores during the day time, and take our treasures back to the room to read during the evening. Those who wish may frequent the pubs. Personal Potent Potables acceptable in the Room.

There is a kitchenette with grill in the room, we can cook as we like or order out......to each his own. There is a fridge for Personal Potent Potables that need to be kept cold........and ice just down the hall.

Sugar Dog Friendly, of course. Who wants to join me?

Hey, it beats standing in front of a train........

Hey, if either of you has been having better sex than me, and more recently, YOU be the coach! Otherwise, I'm it!

Sugar Dog is quite happy where she is. Leave her be!

I hope you're ready for my Cream & Sugar dog to make herself at home here. She goes by "Sugar" for the sake of simplicity. She looks a little like a golden retriever in general shape and size, but is just a beautiful mutt with fluffy, white fur. When she was just a pup Sugar had a small, very light brown patch of hair between her shoulders that looked as if someone had spilled a cafe au lait on her. Thus, she got her name. She is sweet and smart and will respond to a normal, conversational voice. She will fetch for you once and only once, so don't bother asking again until the following day. But mostly, she enjoys just lounging around and a good back or belly rub (not unlike her master).

Sugar enjoys music and might even sing along with some of it. But until the music gets started, she'll just want to lie in that sunny spot over by the window.

I'll just grab a cuppa coffee and "The Wit and Wisdom of Mark Twain" and curl up in that big chair over there.

MMario, that was the point!! I need a little Heaven on Earth!!

Whizzywig, I not only aint gettin none, I don't want none!! Dogs is better frens, they are so happy with so little, thas why I sez bring dat SugarDog...saddlebags and Indian rides is fine, but so is Motel Rooms with bedtime snacks......an her very own bed.

'Gin, If you haven't read any Peter S. Beagle, I reccomend that you do so soon. I am thinking about having "NO VISITORS" engraved on my stone......after all, "I" am not there.....

'Gin, he is wonderful. Look for Folk of the Air, The Innkeepers Daughter, as well as a Fine and Private Place. Each of his stories stands alone, and he never tells the same story twice, unlike most fantasy authors, who keep telling the same story over and over again......I love Sheri S. Tepper, but I am getting tired of her story, it is always the same story, no matter the plot or setting.

If you know the quote, Sinsull, you are more than welcome to join us in our very own fine and private place, with or without 4 legged friends. We can accomodate critter allergies, after all. This is Our Own Place......I just need to escape from Here.
