Lyr Req: Chicken Polka

OK--I know it probably is not folk or blues or Celtic or Irish or etc. But does anyone have the lyrics (and movements) to this silly song? Trying to find music and activity for a bird lovers club meeting.

Is it the one that goes with this tune (click)? If so, I HAVE heard lyrics with it, but nothing that really fits it. I think it's originally an instrumental, and I think it's from Germany.

CHICKEN DANCE
Here are the "official" lyrics by Paul Parnes:

Do you wanna feel good?
Lets laugh and play
Wanna have some fun?
Throw your blues away.

Are you feelin' sad?
Got a problem, here's the cure:
Do the Chicken Dance,
Make you happy for sure.

But here's how we do it at Whitney:

I don't wanna be a chicken,
I don't wanna be a duck,
so I shake my tail...
(repeat ad nauseum)

...But I don't for a moment believe they're "official."
here's another (click)

Hey, this is a profound question. Can't anybody give more information on the background of this song?
Maybe I need to lead a Chicken Dance workshop at the next FSGW Getaway. It's the only dance I do.
