The site is Max's design, and I believe should be considered part of the copyright. Color changes, boldface or italic thread titles, should be his biz. I dunno if you Clonefolk knew this, but on my screen, in the subject line for a new post in those threads, the coding for the color and blink showed. In other words, a little lesson in how to do it, via copy and paste, was there as long as it was up. IMO, if anything on the thread list should be bold or italic or colored brightly or blink, it's the Permathreads. Thanks again, Jon, for the quick fix. Shudder.... blink was bad enough, and color a close second, but think of marquee-ing thread titles, uck. Just because we CAN do a thing doesn't make it a good idea. ~Susan |

Actually Kat, there are a couple of threads whose titles have been coded to blink like the crappy shorting-out neon signs outside a b-movie motel window. It was these I referred to, and it appears the situation will be attended to. While we're here, I'd like to suggest the Mudcat website is one of the cleanest and well-designed sites extant, with a very high signal to noise ratio, and I sure didn't intend to slight Max.
