From: katlaughing Of course, I say that with a smile.:-) I know there are some of you out there, like Sandy Paton, Art Thieme, and Jean Ritchie, who read a lot of the Forum, but may not post as often. I also know, from the recent "Tales of Walt Robertson" thread, that there are more of you out there than most of us realise. Anyway, I am asking you, please, when you have time and the inclination, please tell us more of your stories or whathaveyou about your life and times in folk music, or those of others whom you know and are comfortable with sharing in this public forum. The above mentioned thread, Art's refreshed one of TALL TALES and a few others are what a lot of us consider the BEST of the Mudcat and we'd love to see more of them, with your input. Thank you, with much respect and appreciation, kat/katlaughing |

He always seemed (to me anyway) to come across as a simple feller not really comprehending what all the fuss was about him. His very distinctive voice and ability to put feeling into a song/story made him a favorite. |
