Unfortunately, the unofficial Clannad site is riddled with errors. |

It would have saved confusion if I had! Angelo: were you "Skye Laurent" in that previous thread, then? (I'm a little confused! The thread was Boys of Ireland, as I mentioned earlier.) Margaret Stewart's recording of "Uamh an Oir", as you have on your website, is the one that I gave you the text for (Lyr/Chords Req: gaelic songs) : it was transcribed by Morag MacLeod, one of the greatest living experts on Scottish Gaelic song, and the words are certainly right; several times, though, phrases are repeated, which may be confusing until you get used to the sounds of it. I think the problem is the pronunciation of words. Some days ago I downloaded "a beginner's guide to Irish Gaelic Pronunciation" as someone suggested in this forum, and I'm listening the songs I have, to understand the sound of any single word.
