The 4CD box set (Martin) Carthy Chronicles are now available, and indispensible for lovers of the English folk (and folk rock). The 96 pages of notes are seriously good.

Martin and Norma will be at the Old Songs Festival this year (Altamont NY, last full weekend in June).

Also in attendance will be Neil Wayne (Free Reed Records), and Nigel Schofield, who compiled this one as well as the Peter Bellamy "Wake the Vaulted Echoes" set. It should be a bit of a party, as well as something of a US launching of the Chronicles.
