19 Mar 01 - 03:54 PM (#421088) Subject: New Jersey towns From: GUEST,Pete Dodenhoff I'm trying to remember (and get the music/lyrics to) a song, maybe 20 years old, whose lyrics were almost entirely made up of the names of cities and towns in New Jersey (like Hoboken, Ho-Ho-Kus, Whippany, Parsippany, Matawan, Manasquan, etc). The song might've been by Leon Redbone, maybe Dave Van Ronk, but I'm not really sure. Any help in tracking down the song and its authorship would sure be appreciated. Pete |
