BS: Recommend a good doctor in Dublin, pls

Can any of you wonderful Mudcatters recommend a good, honest, no-BS doctor in Dublin, Ireland, please - someone genuine, with integrity and sensitivity. This is really important for a very special cyber-friend of mine.

I know you guys live and have connections all over the world and the best possible recommendation I can get for my friend is from Mudcatters.

It's probably best if you send me a personal message with the doctor's contact details, but some info about why you are recommending her/him would also help a lot, so that I can pass that info on to my friend and she can decide who to contact.

Eternal gratitude for the Mudcat network and Mudcat friendship, Helen

Where in Dublin? It's not a great idea to send some trekking right across the city when they're ill.

Thanks, JTT, but I'll have to find out where my friend lives. I don't have any idea because we have never discussed that.

I suspect that if she can find a really good doctor then that would be the most important outcome, and her/his location might be secondary to that - but I'm checking on this with her too.

Well, my friend lives 30 miles outside of Dublin (I didn't know that) near Blessington, and she said, JTT, that you are right - trekking across Dublin when you are *well* could make you ill.

Thanks Helen

Blessington? OK, I'll ask around.

Right, I've got a name for you. Email me at jt.thompson.source@indigo.ie - but take out the .source, that's just to fool the spambots.
