A DMB song or not??? MUST KNOW!!!

From: Moria (thefletcher@hotmail.com)

Words as follows on DMB's live Live@ REd Rocks - no note of ownership/public domainship and no note of title on sleeve -
I will give you water if you will share your wine
I will feed your heart if you promise to feed mine
And we will dance together forever

I have no ideas, and no web pages on the Dave Matthews Band say anything about this song. Last person to give me advice said it sounded Paul Simon-ish, but there's no mention there either!!! :-( Anyone know any better??

Ta ta for now, Moria

I messed up on the last line

And we will dance together / Until the end of time

No takers, huh?

Thanks a whole hell of a lot

Hi Moria You might get a better response to this question if you use the first line of the lyrics as the title thread. I have to admit that "DMB" means nothing to me, and I don't know who the Dave Matthews Band is, but someone is likely to recognise the lyrics.

Good luck Helen

The song is called RECENTLY and it's on two albums by the Dave Matthews Band: "Remember Two Things" (1993) and "Live at Red Rocks 8.15.95" (1997) as well as a couple of collections.

Authorship is credited to "Carter Beauford / Stefan Lessard / Dave Matthews / Leroi Moore / Boyd Tinsley". They are all members of the Dave Matthews Band.

That's what happens when you're impatient; your question gets answered 14 years later.

It's one of those combo things. The part missy was looking for is called

Wine/Water Jam

It's the tail part of "Recently".
