Help: Instrumental soundtrack on Little Voice

Having watched the film (or movie to you collonials...), Little Voice, for the umpteenth time I still missed the credits for who does the instrumental music.

OK the renditions of all the old classic vocal stuff by Jane Horrocks is brilliant but so is some of the incidental music. Sounds quite folky as well. I'm sure someone out there knows who performed it - Was it one of you in fact???

Cheers

Hi Dave,

I don't know if this helps at all but I got these two names from the credits listed at the AllMovie site:

http://allmovie.com/

John Altman - Musical Arrangement / Composer (Music Score)

Bob Last - Musical Direction/Supervision

I looked at the free sampler CD that came with a magazine: that also credits John Altman.

Thanks guys - Most grateful for this bit of info but I was thinking more of the performers. If it was performed by John Altman as well I would like to hear more! I am sure I heard it was someone of the Brass Monkey ilk though - or a least with some Carthy/Waterson connection. Perhaps it is just that the film was located in Scarborough and said family is not a million miles from there. Anybody?

Cheers

The Internet Movie Database also has a full list of "Mr. Boo's Band," if that helps. ;)

Incidentally, I just found out that they've released a second album of Jane Horrocks songs! It's only out in the UK so far (though I may order it from HMV in Canada). I don't know how much longer I can live without it.

I'm trying to resist temptation. *grin* It's quite difficult, especially since she does a duet on the CD with Ewan McGregor. Sigh.
