25 Mar 01 - 10:40 PM (#425547) Subject: RE: NC RenFaire: Anyone Going? From: Matt_R Me too Sorch!! My sis and I are carpooling our friends Ryan and Josie (his girlfriend) up to NC State to attend the NC Newman Center leadership retreat with folks from Newman here at ECU and NCState, UNC, etc on Friday night-Saturday afternoon. After we leave there, we'll be headed to the Renfaire. Our other Newman buddy Daniel will probably be going to the fair to, in his truck. I threatened to have him wench walked after he body-slammed Josie's teddy bear... So, the Newman contingent WILL be there this year, lol!

It's located in Sunny Devoid (Err... Devore) California... Registration is coming up March 30, and while I'm not working it, I'm going to be out there to visit a few friends... M |

26 Mar 01 - 01:20 PM (#425910) Subject: RE: NC RenFaire: Anyone Going? From: Melani Oh phooey! I saw the thread name and thought maybe you meant Northern California, where I most cetainly will be. Come see us at St. Cuthbert's if you can. And as for you, SeanM, any chance you'll be up north this year? I will also be at Valhalla, hopefully next to the Seadogs. |
26 Mar 01 - 02:20 PM (#425973) Subject: RE: NC RenFaire: Anyone Going? From: MMario and the rennies come out of the woodwork! BTW - does anyone recognize the song being requested here? I still haven't reconnected with alt.fairs.renaissance for posting.... |

26 Mar 01 - 11:33 PM (#426276) Subject: RE: NC RenFaire: Anyone Going? From: SeanM Melani... Nah, very little chance of me being at Val this year. Tahoe's a wee bit of a drive from Southern California, and without employment or vehicle it makes getting around and planning difficult... MMario - Read the thread, but honestly have no clue. It'd be a bit more helpful if you've contacted the person to find out if the song was sung by a specific group there, or if it was a random patron. Groups can be tracked. Patrons, however... M |
