Help: Who wrote 'boney skulls'?

Hi,

I'm trying to review old cassettes from a party at the No Exit Cafe in Chicago from 1977. I'm having a hard time identifying a certain performer. He plays guitar and sings. The only song of his own that he sings is titled "Boney Skulls". He also did a song with Red Grammer called Muja (sp?) which is a song from the west african country of Sierra Leone. He claims to have been an anthropology teacher prior to his singing career.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Hello Joe---

Still can't dredge this bit o' trivia up for ya.
I do hope my e-mail of an hour ago got to you but my Outlook Express locked up on me so I came over here for a while. I tried to send it but one never knows if it made it past the airlock.

Love to you and Linda and the kids,

Art
